About the Park
A master-planned industrial city on Tanzania's northern coast.
Overview
Amboni Industrial Park & Special Economic Zone
Amboni Industrial Park & Special Economic Zone (AISZ) is a master-planned industrial and logistics development strategically located in Pongwe, Tanga City, Tanzania. Developed by Amboni Spinning Mill Ltd, a member of the Amboni Group of Companies, the project is designed to become one of Tanzania's premier private industrial investment destinations, providing fully serviced industrial land and world-class infrastructure for manufacturing, logistics, agro-processing, mineral processing, export-oriented industries and regional distribution.
Situated along the Tanga–Segera Highway (A14) and only 14 km from the Port of Tanga, the Park gives investors a unique opportunity to establish operations at the gateway to East and Central African markets. The project aligns with Tanzania's industrialization strategy, which encourages industrial parks and Special Economic Zones to attract manufacturing, exports and value addition.
Vision
Our vision
To develop Tanzania's leading integrated industrial city and port logistics center, attracting local and international investment, creating employment, driving exports, and supporting sustainable industrial growth throughout East Africa.
Project size
500 acres, developed in phases
The development comprises approximately 500 acres of industrial land, laid out in phases. Phase I is 152 acres of it: the 31 parcels drawn on the master plan, plus the roads and public infrastructure that serve them.
Those parcels run from 2.68 to 9.70 acres, which is what lets one estate hold a small industry, a medium-scale manufacturer and a large industrial investor. 26 of them are still available.
